Description
The outbuilding around the northwest courtyard at Evancoyd is a 19th-century coach house with a loft above. It is constructed from coursed squared rubble and features a hipped slate roof, a timber bellcote topped with a leaded pyramidal cap and a weathercock. There are two double-door entries with flat voussoir lintels. Stone steps lead up to a boarded loft door, and there are additional loft openings that are louvred. Inside, the building has king-post roof trusses. This range extends back to connect with the rear wing of the house.
On the north side of the yard, there is a stable range that has been partially converted into domestic accommodation during the 19th century. This two-storey structure is also made of coursed rubble, has a slate roof, and features a brick end stack and brick cambered lintels. It includes boarded doors and small-paned timber casements.
To the west of the stable block, there is a single-storey range from the 19th century, built of coursed squared rubble with a hipped slate roof. This building has a projecting entrance bay with a wide brick cambered arch and a later double door entry to the right. It also features king-post trusses.
These three outbuildings are grouped together with Evancoyd.
