Description
The Forge is a two-storey building that includes an adjoining lofted stable and a single-storey former smithy. It is constructed of coursed rubble, with the left gable rendered. The roofs are covered in slate, and there is a projecting rendered end stack on the left with offsets and a bake oven. A tall brick stack is located at the front right, and there is a brick end stack for the smithy. The building features a three-window range with small-panel, metal-framed casements. The central entrance has a boarded front door and is sheltered by a boarded canopy porch with a slate roof. Additionally, there is a boarded pitching door and a small-paned window for the stable loft.
