Description
The Lodge to Evancoyd, built around 1835, is designed in a simplified Picturesque style. It is two storeys high and constructed from coursed squared rubble. The hipped slate roof extends into a catslide over a smaller rear section, which has an additional lean-to. At the rear, there is a tall rubble chimney stack featuring three diagonally-set brick shafts. The building has deep-set boxed eaves, an angled bay window at the front, and an enclosed timber porch with small-paned timber casements.
