Description

Blairstruie House, dated 1853, is a late example of the picturesque cottage style that was popular in the 1820s and 1830s. The building is two storeys high with a low first floor and broad eaves. It features bay windows and has a symmetrical eastern front, while the southern front is asymmetrical and includes a gothic porch and a single-storey wing. The house is constructed from rubble with stugged dressings.
