Description
Church Brow Cottage is an early 19th-century picturesque cottage located to the east of Vicarage Lane. It stands two storeys tall and is constructed of coursed rubble. The cottage features a slate hipped roof with lead ridges and a very flat pitch, along with a single chimney. Notable architectural details include quoins, an eaves cornice, and windows that have sills and plain reveals, with casements that include Gothic lights. The south wall is slightly bowed and originally had a triple window with a plain stone surround; the central light has been converted into a door, while the other lights have been blocked.
