Description
The outbuildings to the southeast of Hoddell Farmhouse consist of a two-storey stable and a barn, both dating from the 19th century. The stable features rubble rear walls and a dressed stone facade, topped with a hipped slate roof. The ground floor openings are set under voussoir lintels.
The barn has three bays and is constructed of coursed rubble, with ventilation slits and a weather-boarded upper section facing the yard. It has a slate half-hipped roof and includes large modern double doors leading to the threshing bay. Inside, there are two bolted king-post trusses and two tiebeam trusses with raking braces.
