Description
The second outbuilding to the southeast of Hoddell Farmhouse is a two-storey stable built in the 19th century. It features rubble rear walls and a dressed stone facade, topped with a hipped slate roof. The ground floor openings are set under voussoir lintels.
Adjacent to this stable is a 19th-century barn that consists of three bays. It is constructed of coursed rubble and includes ventilation slits, with a weather-boarded upper section facing the yard. The barn has a slate half-hipped roof and large modern double doors leading to the threshing bay. Inside, there are two bolted king-post trusses and two tiebeam trusses with raking braces.
