Description
The farm range located to the north of Litton Court is an L-shaped structure that is part of a planned courtyard layout. It features good quality coursed stone rubble walls and a slate roof. The yard openings have cambered heads, and there are triangular ventilators on the roadside elevations.
The west range includes two-storey cowhouses with a loft, a rear feeding passage, and halved and pegged trusses. The end closest to the house was originally a traphouse with a two-horse stable. The front of the north range has been partially demolished, and the roof has been extended to create a modern covered yard. Additionally, stone-built pigsties complete the courtyard.
