Description
The Rectory Outbuilding is a two-storey structure with an attic and two rear wings, built from coursed stone rubble and topped with a slate roof featuring crested ridge tiles. It has two end stacks made of rendered brick with a chevron oversailing course. The symmetrical garden front showcases a tile-hung upper storey that rises to a central dormer in a cross gable, complete with projecting bargeboards, a finial, and a pendant. On either side of the central front door, which is supported by tapering wooden posts with scroll brackets, are two-storey bay windows from the early 20th century, each with a pantile roof. The rear wings consist of one made of stone rubble and the other tile-hung, both adorned with projecting bargeboards, a pendant, and a finial.
To the north, there is a late 19th-century rubble extension featuring a louvred opening in the gable upper and a shuttered opening in the roadside wall. A further rubble extension with a hipped roof and modern casements is located to the south, along with a small rubble block that has a pitched roof and a shuttered opening facing the roadside.
Additionally, there is a detached stable or traphouse with a loft above, which is adjacent to a pigsty and a fuel store. This structure is also built from coursed rubble and has a slate roof with crested ridge tiles. It is positioned at the back of the road. The interior has not been inspected.
