Description
Llys-ucha is a 1½-storey house built on a slope, featuring an earth bank at the rear and a high stone terrace walled podium at the front. The house has black and white timber framing, except for the left bay, which has been reconstructed in stone; this stonework, along with other areas, is painted white. The roof is restored slate with brick chimneys at both ends and in the middle. At the rear, the masonry of an oven slightly projects and is connected to the main chimney. There is a stone lean-to extension at the back. The lower windows are modern timber casements with small panes, set in openings that respect the framing panels. The dormer windows are also timber casement windows with six panes each, featuring bargeboards and slate roofs.
The house has a four-bay plan with two staircases: one serves the east bay, while the other serves the remaining three bays. The main chimney is located between the east bay and the adjacent bay and includes a bread oven at the rear.
