Description

Gwynfa is a house constructed from roughly rendered and whitened local stonework, topped with a slate roof and tile ridge. It stands two storeys high, with the main block featuring a three-window front elevation. The timber windows have been replaced but maintain the earlier positions and proportions. A chimney made of similar masonry is located to the left of center, while a bakehouse chimney is found in the right gable of the main block.

To the left, there is an extension built with similar materials, which has a single-storey front elevation with two windows. The left gable elevation of this extension includes a window and an attic window above. To the right, another extension consists of two bays with a single-storey front elevation that has two windows. The right gable elevation features two windows (which replace doors) and an attic window above. The fenestration at the rear has been significantly altered, and there is a modern porch added.

Inside, a large chimney opposite the lobby entrance serves the left and center units of the house. A timber-framed partition separates the center unit from the right unit, and there is a cellar beneath the right unit.
