Description

Pont y Capel is a small village bridge built in vernacular style using uncoursed local rubble masonry. The bridge features four rough-stonework openings, each less than one metre wide, which are capped with large stone slabs. The road spans approximately 4 metres in width between the parapets. The parapets have a segmental profile and rise to less than one metre high at the midpoint of the span, with coping made of upright stones.
