Description
Pentre House is a well-detailed building constructed from red brick, featuring a masonry range at the rear that may serve as a service area. It stands two storeys tall and has slate roofs with broad overhanging eaves. The front has three windows and a projecting central bay. The first floor has nine-pane sash windows, while the ground floor has twelve-pane sashes, all set beneath flat arched, finely gauged brick heads. A sandstone, Tuscan portico with four columns and an entablature enhances the entrance, which also includes an overlight above the front door. There are two external stacks with paired yellow brick shafts topped by sandstone blocks. Additionally, there is a single storey, red brick range on the west side, which features a red brick end stack. Access to the interior was not available at the time of inspection in May 1996.
