Farm building at Gribin

This is a five-bay farm building with some surviving rubble stonework on the south and northwest sides. It has a hipped roof, with the southern pitch covered in old slates, while the rest is covered in corrugated iron sheeting. The western side is primarily made of corrugated iron sheeting, featuring a planked door on the left and split doors towards the center. The northern end also has corrugated iron sheeting on a breeze block plinth. The southern end, visible from the interior, is constructed of stone and includes a loft hatch and two small openings to the lower storey. Attached to the eastern front is a full-length, full-height lean-to made of breeze blocks with a corrugated metal roof; it has three doors, which are either split or planked.

Inside, the five-bay layout showcases good timberwork, with pegged joints and carpenter's marks. The tie-beam trusses feature diagonal struts, and the tie beams are supported by short braces connected to the wall posts. In the central bay, there are vertical posts beneath the tie beams, which may have been linked to former partitions. Some box paneling from the original eastern wall remains inside the lean-to, although the panels are now open. The hipped roof was added later, with the ridges of the second and fifth trusses supported by raked, unworked timber posts.
