Description
Bryn Hyfryd is a terrace of two-storey cottages built from large blocks of coursed undressed stone and topped with slate roofs. Each cottage features brick end stacks and is mostly roughcast, except for the right end. Bryn Hyfryd and Arfryn are symmetrical cottages with three windows and central doorways, while Hendre has two windows with its doorway on the right. The cottages primarily have 16-pane hornless sash windows with slate sills, and the lower storey openings are topped with slate lintels, while timber lintels are found beneath the eaves. Additional cottages are attached to the left and right ends, but the rear is not visible.
Bryn Hyfryd specifically has a mid-20th century wooden door with a small light and a plain overlight, flanked by 16-pane hornless sash windows, with three similar windows located above. Access to the interior was not available at the time of inspection.
