Description

The pig sty at Tan y Ffordd is a pair of structures built from rubble stone and topped with a slate roof. The full-height doorways are centrally located and feature slate quoins. Each pen has a dividing wall and a central square pier at the front, with narrow doorways on either side. On the left and right of the doorways, there are slate-lined chutes designed for depositing swill. The walls are capped with large slate copings.
