Description

This is a Celtic-style war memorial made of roughly-hewn marble. It features a wheel-headed cross with interlace work in relief. The memorial stands on a two-tier base, which is polished at the front. The upper section is trapezoidal and commemorates those who fell in the Great War from 1914 to 1918. The lower section honors those who fell in World War II from 1939 to 1945. The entire structure is set on a large three-tier plinth, with the lowest tier made of concrete and the two upper tiers constructed of stone.
