Description

Seymour Place is a terrace of five cottages, built in 1847. The cottages are constructed of narrow, coursed rubble stone with stone dressings. They have a low-pitched Welsh slate roof with gabled ends and ridge stacks. The two storeys are divided by a band. The cottages have a five-window range to the front. Doorways and windows are defined by rusticated architraves with flat arches containing voussoirs and key blocks. Modern doors and windows are present throughout, with the exception of hung sash windows containing glazing bars at numbers 40 and 42 and a door consisting of two raised and fielded panels and two flush panels at number 40. A plaque is inscribed on the facade marking "Seymour Place, 1847".
