Description

Pont Aberhiriarth is a single-span bridge built from large blocks of coursed grey stone. It features a high round arch made of stone voussoirs, complete with a raised keystone and an impost band. The spandrels are flush, and there is a string course leading to the random stone parapets, which have replaced the original flat capstones. The bridge has splayed ends with square end piers that rise slightly higher than the parapets and are topped with shallow pyramidal capstones. A rubble stone wall continues to the southeast.
