Description
Pont-y-clochydd is a single arch bridge constructed in quasi-rubble slate masonry. It features a segmental span of approximately 8 meters and is built about 5 meters above the Afon Twrch. The voussoirs of the arch are not of uniform height, and the common masonry is uncoursed. The bridge supports a cobbled roadway that is about 2.5 meters wide, flanked by uncoped and uncoursed parapets that are less than 1 meter high.
