Description

Lletypiod and Tynewydd are a pair of symmetrical, double-fronted semi-detached cottages dating to an unknown period. They are constructed of rock-faced slate masonry with slate roofs and tile ridges, featuring three chimneys. The chimneys and the arches of the lower windows are built from blue engineering bricks. The roof has a slight overhang at the eaves and verges. A small lean-to is present on the right-hand side. The lower windows are small-paned, each with three lights, and the upper windows are similarly small-paned with two lights. They have painted slate sills. The doors are fitted with rectangular overlights and pedimented timber canopies; the right-hand cottage retains its original six-panel door. Original iron gates and railings are located at the front. The interior has not been inspected.
