Description
Richard, George & Jenkins Solicitors is a three-storey building with a cellar, featuring a two-window facade made of painted Flemish bond brick. The entrance bay is advanced to the left. It has a leaded parapet above a simply moulded eaves cornice and brick stacks. The second-floor window on the left has a shallow upper sash with nine panes and a moulded architrave. To the right is a tripartite sash window with a shallow upper sash and small panes, supported by plain pilasters and consoles beneath the eaves band; the sills are on brackets. The first-floor window on the left was originally a 15-pane sash window, but the lower glazing bars have been removed; it features a moulded architrave and a flat head. The right side has another tripartite sash window, with the glazing bars removed from the centre sash, plain pilasters, and a pediment with a plain entablature. There is a moulded sill band present.
On the ground floor to the right, there is a broad two-light window, also with plain pilasters, a cornice, and square panels below the sill. The entrance features a modified Serliana design with an openwork super arch. It has good ironwork gates and stone steps leading to a recessed concave entrance vestibule. The central door is flanked by round-arched doorways, with a dummy doorway on the left, and pilasters on either side.
