Description

Plasgwyn is a three-storey building with a cellar, dating from the 18th century. It has a symmetrical facade of three bays. The building is constructed of painted Flemish bond brick with a gently pitched slate roof covered with lead at the ridge. Deep boarded eaves and plain bargeboards are present, along with brick end stacks, which have been truncated on the right. The upper-floor windows are shallow sashes with nine panes. The first-floor windows are twelve-pane sashes, set within a sill band. The ground floor features two wider, offset, sixteen-pane sashes. The windows have gauged brick voussoirs, plain reveals, and stone sills. Cellar openings are visible below, with voussoirs removed on the right. A central round arched doorway is flanked by similar arches at the outer corners. An original octagonal panelled door is set beneath a fanlight. A tunnel passage is located on the left, and a blind archway completes the symmetry on the right.
