Description
The Angel Public House is a three-storey building with a three-window façade, constructed of painted Flemish bond brick. It features a gently pitched slate roof with a lead ridge and has brick stacks located on the left gable and the rear range. The building has a plain eaves cornice and shallow upper sashes with 12 panes in the second-floor windows. The first-floor windows are 16-pane sashes, including one on the right end wall. The windows have gauged brick voussoirs, plain reveals, and stone sills. The ground floor has a similar window style but features a Victorian sash on the left side, while the right side has a modern bar window with a late 19th-century fascia board that has consoles at the ends, which return around the right end. There is also a modern doorway that is off-centre.
