Description

31 Market Street is a three-storey building with a one-window front, constructed in painted Flemish bond brick. It features a gently pitched slate roof and a saw-toothed eaves cornice, along with brick stacks. The second-floor window has a six-pane sash, while the first floor showcases a Victorian sash window. The brickwork includes gauged brick voussoirs, plain reveals, and stone sills. The ground floor has an attractive Victorian "Office" front, which includes a shallow three-light window above plain wooden panels, plain pilasters, and twin consoles supporting a moulded entablature. To the right, there is a panelled recess with a half-glazed door. The end elevation is made of painted English garden wall bond brick.
