Description
Bryn Hafren is a three-storey building with a cellar and a two-window front, constructed with painted Flemish bond brickwork. It features a gently pitched slate roof, with old slates on the right side and a lead ridge, along with brick end chimney stacks and deep boarded eaves. The design is asymmetric, as the windows on the right side are slightly lower to accommodate the slope of the hill. The second-floor windows have shallow eight-pane sashes, while the first and ground floor windows have sixteen-pane sashes, with the right-side windows being somewhat smaller. The openings are adorned with gauged brick voussoirs, plain reveals, and stone sills. The cellar openings have cambered header arches below. The entrance has a plain doorcase with a gabled hood supported by brackets, featuring a six-panel door that is part glazed and a rectangular fanlight above. Stone steps lead up to the entrance.
