Description

1 High Street is a three-storey building constructed of painted brick with a slate roof. The front elevation features a two-window range with a six-panelled door located to the right of the centre. To the left, there is a small shop window, and to the right, a four-pane sash window. An entry to a passage is found at the far left. A continuous canopy extends over the ground floor. The upper storeys also have four-pane sash windows, with the first-floor windows featuring cambered brick heads. The side passage and rear wing reveal exposed square panelled framing, with thinner timbering visible in the later extension. The rear wing is noted to retain a splat baluster staircase.
