Description
Pinewood Tavern is a building located on Broad Street in Welshpool. It features painted brick construction and a slate roof that is hipped at the corner with Hall Street, and has a gable end stack on the right side. The building stands three storeys tall and has a three-window range. The ground floor has been completely renovated with a 20th-century public house frontage, but the upper floors retain 16-pane sash windows with flat arched gauged brick heads. There is a canted bay window, which is a later 19th-century addition, to the right on the first floor, along with a lower 8-pane sash window situated above it. The building also has a nogged eaves band and a long full-height rear wing that extends to No 2, featuring a mono-pitched roof.
