Description
12A Hall Street is likely a house built around 1800. The ground floor is currently part of the Pinewood Tavern, located at Nos 1-2 Broad Street. The building is constructed of brick, which is painted on the ground and first floors. It stands four storeys high and has a two-window range. The doorway features a reeded architrave with panelled rebates, and there is an inserted window with a flat arched head to its right, along with a passage entry to the left. The first floor has four-pane sash windows, while the second floor features 12 and 16-pane sashes with a continuous sill band. The third storey has one and two-pane sashes, all of which have flat arched plastered heads. This building is part of a group located at the southern end of Hall Street.
