Description

3 Broad Street is a building featuring painted brick and a low pitched slate roof, which is a result of remodeling work from the late 19th century. It has a gable end stack on the left side. The ground floor includes a 20th-century shop front, while a square oriel window was added to the first floor in the later 19th century, with the gauged brick head of the earlier opening still visible above it. There is an 8-pane sash window on the second storey, and the building is adorned with a dentilled eaves band.

Inside, a fine steeply curved staircase with slender stick balusters and a swept rail remains intact at the first floor.
