Description

The outbuildings at Melyniog-fach are a timber-framed former house, featuring light timbering that is three panels high and painted black and white. The structure is brick nogged, with a brick gable end to the east and an additional brick bay to the west. It has four windows above and four below, along with three doors, all in keeping with the timber framing. The roof is slate, hipped to the east to blend with the roof of the adjoining higher agricultural range, and includes a tile ridge and a chimney to the west.

The agricultural additions consist of an L-shaped barn range, which includes a north wing and an east wing. The north side is built of brick, while the south side is constructed from local grey stone, except for a brick panel over the cartway in the center of the barn. The barn has a small slate roof, which is turnerised, and features a tile ridge. On the north side of the barn (east wing), there are three doors, a cart opening, and three windows. On the east side of the barn range (north wing), there are two doors, a loft door, and two windows. Both sides of the barn have numerous diamond-shaped brick vents.
