Description

No. 2 Glandwr is a semi-detached two-storey cottage, part of a pair with No. 1 Glandwr, built in red brick. The left cottage is a light red color, while the right cottage is a darker red. The front of the left cottage is slightly asymmetric but well-proportioned, featuring lower windows that are marginally larger than those above. It is framed by shallow pilasters. The right cottage has less intricate detailing. Both cottages have random slate roofs with graded courses and a tile ridge, along with end chimneys and one mid chimney, all made of brick.

The door casings on both cottages are similar, featuring broad shallow pilasters with a key design, topped with a plain frieze and cornice. Each door has a small overlight with glazing bars arranged in a brick-bond pattern. The window openings have rubbed brick flat arches and stone sills, and the cottages are fitted with hornless sash windows that do not have glazing bars. In front, there is a forecourt enclosed by a low brick and stone wall.
