Description
Gwyndu Cottage is a single-storey cottage built with timber framing, featuring two panels high. The timber framing is exposed on three sides, while the west side abuts later brick houses. It has a deep quasi-rubble plinth, and a few panels show signs of brick nogging. The cottage is topped with a slate roof and has a red brick mid-chimney.
The front elevation faces south and has two windows. There is a boarded door set within a simple 20th-century porch, flanked by small-pane windows that have metal opening casements and glazing bars, which align with the timber framing panels. Above, there are modern small-pane dormer windows.
The rear elevation is blank, apart from a disused door and small-paned windows with metal glazing bars in the right bay, along with a modern dormer window located centrally. The cottage consists of two units and may have had an upper floor that has since been reduced.
