Description
Ossington House is a mid-18th century, three-storey building with a stucco front and some later details. It features end quoins and a slate roof. The façade has three windows with heavy moulded architraves that include cill brackets, cornices, and aprons for the ground floor openings. The windows are double hung sashes with glazing bars, while the outer first-floor windows have horizontal sliding sashes.
At the center of the building, there is a pilastered door piece topped with a hood supported by fluted brackets. The entrance consists of a six-panel door accessed by steps, accompanied by a traceried fanlight. To the left, there is a lower two-storey extension with double boarded doors beneath a single sash window. The rear of the house has earlier gabled extensions.
Inside, the property is said to retain two attractive mid-18th century staircases and one room featuring good plain rectangular panelling.
