Description
Bersham Lodge is a picturesque lodge built in 1833. It features pecked coursed and squared stone with timber plank decoration, including dentilled corner posts. The roof is made of fishscale slate with tile cresting and has a gable end stack with castellated capping. The lodge is single-storeyed with a two-unit plan, and an advanced gable on the right side. This gable houses a squared bay window with three mullioned and transomed lights, along with a datestone reading "T.L.F. 1833" at the apex. To the left of the gable is a doorway with a plank door and a small canopy hood. The rear gable has a three-light mullioned and transomed window with a single lattice-glazed light at the apex. The building features scalloped bargeboards throughout. There is a shallow north wing that has been extended but maintains a similar style.
