Description

The bridge, gates, and railings at Bersham Lodge are notable decorative features made of cast iron. The bridge is designed with gothic balustrading that includes twisted rails and trefoiled heads. It has hollow cast outer piers that are enriched with fleur-de-lys and quatrefoil designs. The main gates are flanked by similar piers and feature spear-head finials on the rails, along with a quatrefoil frieze band. The railings on either side of the gates, which connect to the lodge on the east side, share the same detailed design.
