Description

The Game Larder at Plas Power is an octagonal structure built from red brick, featuring hammer-dressed, long and short sandstone quoins. It has an unusually steep slate roof adorned with bands of shaped slates and very wide overhanging eaves supported by arched timber brackets that spring from stone corbels, topped with a timber finial. The rectangular windows are concealed under the eaves and have freestone architraves, metal bars, and gauze. The entrance includes a panelled door. Inside, the walls are diagonally tiled below the windows, with a blue and white band at the top.
