Description
Lodge Cottage at Norwood Park is a lodge built around 1764. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and has a slate roof. The building features a plinth, a first-floor band, corner pilasters, moulded eaves, and pedimented gables. It has a single ridge and stacks on the rear wall and side wall. The windows are glazing bar sashes. The lodge is two storeys high and has three bays, arranged in a T-plan. The front has a central wing with a semicircular recess that contains a segment-headed window, and to the right, there is a similar window. The central section includes a canted parapeted bay window with three sashes that have rubbed brick heads, with a single window to the right and a hipped verandah with round iron posts to the left, covering another window. In the return angle, there is a door. The street end of the building is identical to the front central wing.
