Description

The railings and gateway to the east drive at Norwood Park date from the mid 18th century, with the gate added in the mid 19th century. The structure is made of brick with stone dressings. It features a pair of incurving dwarf walls that support spiked iron railings. There are also two square gatepiers with plinths and moulded caps topped with ball finials. The wooden gate is notable for its unusual design, featuring turned members. Additionally, there are two square terminal piers with plinths and pyramidal caps.
