Description
Sunnyside is a terrace of four cottages, originally built in the early 19th century with alterations made in the mid-19th century. Three cottages at the right end were demolished around 1970. The cottages are constructed of brick and feature steep pitched pantile roofs, cogged eaves, and have four ridge stacks and a single gable stack. Most of the windows are Yorkshire sashes, and the ground floor openings have segmental heads. The building has two storeys plus attics and a five-window range. The rear is blind. The front elevation includes five windows, with four gabled dormers featuring bargeboards above. There are five doors, with the central door replaced by a 20th-century casement; all doors are sheltered by gabled wooden lattice porches with bargeboards. The left gable has a blocked door to the left and a two-light and a three-light Yorkshire sash to the right, along with two small 20th-century casements in the gable.
