Description

36 and 38 Westhorpe are a pair of cottages from the late 18th century, with an early 19th-century workshop addition on the left. They are constructed of brick and feature steeply pitched pantile roofs with cogged eaves. The cottages are two storeys high and have a central ridge stack. Each cottage has two glazing bar casements on both floors, with single close boarded doors on either side. The workshop addition is two storeys plus garrets, with an altered opening on the right that contains a three-light casement, and above it, a two-light casement. The left gable of the addition has a small casement with a segmental head to the left, and a 20th-century two-light casement in the gable.
