Description

Westhorpe House is a farmhouse, later converted into a house, dating to circa 1780. The structure is built of brick with stone dressings and has a pantile roof. Distinctive features include a plinth, dentilled eaves, coped gables, and two gable stacks. The windows are glazing bar sashes with rubbed brick heads; the windows on the second floor are smaller than those below, and all retain their original arrangement. The house is three storeys high and has a three-window front. The ground floor has a renewed central door topped with a fanlight and a pediment supported by scroll brackets, flanked by single sashes.
