Description

Calvert's Farmhouse, now a house, was built around 1770. It is constructed of brick and has a pantile roof with cogged eaves. The gables are coped, and there are two ridge stacks, rebuilt in the late 20th century. The two-storey, five-window-wide facade features a near-central two-light casement window with Gothic glazing bars. To the left of this are two three-light Yorkshire sash windows with Gothic glazing bars, and to the right a similar window, alongside a 20th-century casement. A near-central six-panelled door is flanked by two three-light Yorkshire sash windows; the windows to the left have segmental heads and Gothic glazing bars. The left gable, facing the street, has a blocked first-floor window.
