Description
6 Park Street is a two-storey building with a symmetrical elevation featuring four windows. It is constructed from roughly coursed and squared sandstone rubble, with dressed stone quoins. The hipped slate roof is topped with two octagonal stone chimneys, one of which is rendered. The paired central entrances are covered by a stone canopy, although the doors have been altered. The windows have hoodmoulds; those on the ground floor are badly eroded, while those on the upper level have been restored.
On the left-hand return, there are paired entrances under a shared stone canopy, with the entrance on the right now converted into a window. The right-hand return mirrors the left-hand return. Overall, the two-unit cottages retain their basic plan, including some original stairs and blocked corner fireplaces.
