Description
3 Park Street is a two-storey building with a symmetrical elevation featuring four windows. It is constructed from roughly coursed and squared sandstone rubble, with dressed stone quoins. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, and there are two octagonal stone chimneys, one of which is rendered.
The paired central entrances are topped with a stone canopy, although the doors have been altered. The windows are fitted with hoodmoulds; those on the ground floor are badly eroded, while those on the upper level have been restored. The left-hand return also has paired entrances beneath a shared stone canopy, but the right-hand return has one entrance replaced with a window.
Overall, the two-unit cottages maintain their basic plan, including some original stairs and blocked corner fireplaces.
