Description

22 Park Street is a two-storey building featuring a symmetrical elevation with four windows. It is constructed from roughly coursed and squared sandstone rubble, with dressed stone quoins and a hipped slate roof that has two octagonal stone chimneys. The paired central entrances are covered by a stone canopy. The windows have hoodmoulds, although those on the ground floor are badly eroded, while the upper-level windows have been restored. The left-hand return also has paired entrances beneath a shared stone canopy, although the right-hand entrance has been converted into a window. The right-hand return mirrors the left-hand return.

Overall, the two-unit cottages maintain their basic plan form, with some original stairs and blocked corner fireplaces still present.
