Description
7 Park Street is a two-storey, four-window building dating from the 18th century. It has a symmetrical elevation constructed from roughly coursed and squared sandstone rubble with dressed stone quoins. The roof is hipped and covered in slate, featuring two octagonal stone chimneys. A stone canopy covers the paired central entrances, although the doors have been altered. The windows have hoodmoulds; those on the ground floor are badly eroded, while the upper-level windows have been restored. A later porch has been added to the left-hand return, which originally contained paired entrances. The right-hand return also features paired entrances under a shared stone canopy, with the left-hand entrance now a window. The original plan form and some original stairs and blocked fireplaces have been retained in the two unit cottages.
