Description
The gates and gate piers at the south entrance to Hanmer churchyard are made of square freestone and feature paneling. The gate piers are topped with sculpted lions and stand on either side of central double gates and outer panels. The gates are decorated with scrollwork, have concave upper rails, and include cresting. The outer panels are designed with dog bars, central scrollwork panels, and cresting that has a moulded finial.
