Description

The gate piers and gates at the north-west entry to the churchyard are early 19th century features. They consist of two slender octagonal gate piers made of ashlar stone, each adorned with Gothic panelling on all sides and topped with corniced caps. The gates are made of iron and have spearhead designs, with the tops curving down towards the center. They include dog-bars with diagonally-crossed braces, and the left gate has a roundel at the intersection marked "Potterne Parish ?1823."
