Description
No. 10 Duck Street is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century, constructed of chequered brick with ashlar dressings and a plain tile hipped roof. It features a west end stack and has a two-storey front that faces prominently down High Street. The façade includes ashlar flush quoins, a moulded plinth, a moulded string course, and a moulded eaves cornice. There are two windows on the front; the first floor has a 3-light and a 2-light beaded flush mullion window, while the ground floor has a 20th-century casement window with top-lights and a door set in an ashlar raised moulded surround with a hood on brackets. The door is also from the 20th century. On the east side wall, there is a similar blocked 2-light window. At the rear, there is a wing with a stack at the north end.
